Our Achievements: Fulfilling the promise: Listed below are some projects that our group has implemented. Of particular importance are the effort, team size, and financial support that were put into these projects: 1. Designed, supplied, and operated 5 terrestrial stations for satellite transmission using ArabSat, NileSat, and UTELSat. 2. Designed, supplied, installed, and operated a complete system for local TV and radio broadcasting using the terrestrial broadcast station instead of the technologies that are usually used (microwave links, fiber optical cables, etc.). Using this setup, a local TV show, Radio programs, and a satellite channel program were aired and successfully received by other TV and Radio stations in Iraq. 3. Upgraded the TV broadcasting systems in Iraq, where solid state transmitters were supplied, installed, and operated with the following variant abilities: a. 17 20 KW transmitters b. 16 15 KW transmitters c. 12 10 KW transmitters d. 12 5 KW transmitters e. 34 3 KW transmitters f. 3 1 KW transmitters 4. Designed, supplied, installed, and operated an FM radio station with 30 solid state transmitters. 5. Upgraded and prepared several TV and Radio broadcasting and production studios in different Arab countries. We replaced the old Analog systems with state of the art Digital ones. 6. Designed and implemented the first Terrestrial Digital TV transmission (DVB-T) in the Middle East. This technology is pretty new and is now adopted by European and other countries. It will replace the current analog transmission system. Utilizing this technology, ITECO Broadcast managed to re-broadcast 21 encrypted TV stations using digital TV transmitters and 3 UHF transmitters, i.e. 7 TV programs/ transmitter. 7. Supplied and installed specialized TV transmission towers with different heights, and provided all the needed accessories such as antennas and suppliers. 8. Supplied, installed, and operated fixed and moving digital microwave links for TV and Radio usage. 9. Supplied the spare parts for all TV, Radio, and satellite production and transmission systems from several vendors. 10. Supplied equipment for checking, measuring and, calibrating TV, Radio and satellite broadcast and transmission systems. 11. Supplied the electro-mechanical logistic equipment needed for TV, Radio and Satellite broadcast and transmission systems.
